A little orange surprise

This is a little wedding cake I did for some friends. The only thing traditional about this cake is the white in the whipped cream frosting!!
The cake is layers of walnut cake soaked in orange syrup then filled with a thin layer of caramel and orange spice bavarian cream. Frosted in whipped cream with some finishing touches of candied sliced oranges, candied walnuts and sliced kumquats.
This one was really a shot in the dark and hurrahhh it worked out!! :o)

Yes, I am happy to announce that the Molasses and Shortbread cookies can be found near the register at Rainbow. A great place for all kinds of yummy and wholesome treats.

Otherwise Valentine's Day has been BUSY. Long hours and much scooping to keep all you cookie eaters satisfied. Also celebrated Valentine's early with the lovely owners of Herringbone and A La Folie in the East Bay. Both shops specialize in wonderful girlie things such as decadent lingerie and sexy lipsticks and shimmery eye candy. I recommend checking out both shops if you are in the East Bay......

Specialty Cakes

This is just a sample of the specialty cakes I can do...
The top cake is a butter vanilla cake soaked in brandy syrup and layered with honey caramel buttercream.
The bottom cake is a meyer lemon buttermilk cake soaked with prosecco syrup and layered with prosecco poached pears and lemon bavarian cream and then topped with fresh whipped cream and decoration.
All I ask is that you tell me your favorite flavors and then I love creating the desserts.

This website provides a space to buy our collection of delicious cookies, but I also do all sorts of specialty orders. I love to bake just about anything so if you are looking for a baked treat, dessert or selection of morning pastries or party favors just send me an email. I like to start from scratch with every project and I only like to work with seasonal ingredients. I was raised on quality food and I only want to provide you with quality goods. I keep things as organic and local as possible.
